Internal parasites can decrease the quality of life for your pet and potentially infect you and your family. Internal parasites can be zoonotic which means they can be transmitted to humans. All animals should have their feces examined at least one time per year to check for these parasites and all puppies and kittens should have a fecal exam two times in their first year of life. If you choose to decline a fecal exam, please understand that you could be exposing your pet, yourself and your family to invasion by these parasites.
